*Accepting new staff and DTS students!
Leaders: Daniel and Carole McClelland
Ministry: Deaf Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), Bible training and leadership development.
Summary: The McClellands started the American Sign Language DTS (ASL DTS) in 2013 in Washington, DC as a way for Deaf adults and those that sign fluently to be trained, empowered, and sent as messengers for Christ into the world. Since then they have run many training programs and helped plant Deaf missions works in various places around the world. They believe that God is raising up a movement in this generation, in the Deaf community worldwide; igniting faith, revival, and encounters with the living God!
In 2019 God moved this ministry to Jamaica where they continue to run the DTS while also serving alongside the local Deaf Jamaican community.
Their mission is to use sign language to train up Deaf young adults and the young at heart, first, to Know God, to love His presence, and to seek him above all else and then, secondly, to Make God Known and share their passion for Jesus throughout the Deaf Community worldwide.
Target People: Their goal is to train local Deaf Jamaicans and Americans to bring the gospel and discipleship to unreached Deaf peoples around the world.
YWAM training available for the Deaf: They run a Discipleship Training School for the Deaf using Jamaican Sign Language and American Sign Language.
